Benefits can include pain alleviation, relaxation of muscles and joints, mood boost, and improved blood circulation.

Treatment Modes:

RESTORE (Red) - Uses all 3 Infrared frequencies. Provides a solution for reducing the inflammation and pain, accelerating recovery and building collagen, which tightens the skin on your entire face and body for a more youthful appearance.

CALM (Green) - A unique green light mode combined with the invisible infrared light frequencies. Designed to help reduce dark spots by inhibiting melanin over-production. Great for reducing the appearance of dilated capillaries, sagging skin around the eyes, hyperpigmentation and sun spots. This is particularly popular with women suffering from postpartum melasma. There is also a Harvard study that suggests a calming effect on people with light sensitivity and migraines. This treatment mode may have a great calming effect on the mind.

CLEANSE (Pink - mixed of Red and Blue) - Offers a combination of red and blue light, designed to help clear the skin. This is one of the first whole body applications using red and blue light combined to treat acne all over the body. Designed to help with oily skin and impurities to improve the overall appearance of the skin. Blue light can also enhance mood, focus and attention.

Each Treatment Mode Offers its Own Unique Benefits:

RED (633) | Rejuvenation and anti-aging; diminish fine lines and wrinkles Pain relief. Improvement of cellular function (more ATP production). Detoxification and inflammation reducing. Mostly active in upper layers of the skin. Studies suggest positive effect on hair growth.

GREEN | Shown to decrease melanin in the skin and reduce pigmentation, such as age spots and freckles. The diffuse light targets the outer layers of the skin and breaks up clumps of melanocytes where pigmentation resides, resulting in a more even skin tone. As with the other types of LLLT, green light also shows indications of improved wound healing.

What does the red light do?

Red light therapy (aka Photobiomodulation or LLLT) is a treatment that stimulates the body’s cellular processes. NEO | Light uses red and full-spectrum near-infrared light to activate a variety of biological processes.

Red light therapy is used for and approved to to treat injuries, reduce pain, relax muscles/joints, and increase blood circulation. These are the main applications recognized in the United States by the FDA. Much new research has surfaced over the past decade which suggests many more applications including skin rejuvenation, hair loss prevention, and sleep optimization.

What does the green light do?

NEO | Light offers a unique Green and Infrared light mode, namly the “Calm Mode”. Green light has the most calming effect on the mind among all colors in the visible light spectrum. A Harvard study suggests that exposure to green light may reduce migraines. While blue and red light may have an activating effect on the body while green light achieves the opposite. Combined with NEO | Light bed’s invisible and deeply penetrating and muscle relaxing infrared light frequencies the calm mode was born.

Beyond its calming effect, Green Light may also improve the appearance of dilated capillaries, sagging skin around the eyes, under eye circles, hyperpigmentation and sun spots. Research suggests that deep penetrating near-infrared light energy may reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation by down-regulating hyperactive melanocytes in the dermis. Other studies suggest that Green Light may prevent the production of excess melanin, resulting in less pigmentation on the skin’s surface, resulting in a brighter, more even skin tone.

What does the blue light do?

Blue Light is stimulating and thought to enhance mood, focus and attention. Blue light is part of the spectrum of light we get from daylight, and it is also associated with cleansing and disinfecting. Research suggests that the combination of red and blue light may reduce bacteria caused blemishes on the skin resulting in an overall improved appearance of the skin.

The downside of blue light is that even small amounts of if in the evening may suppress the release of melatonin, and thereby throw off the circadian rhythm. Thus, those sensitive to it may have a harder time to sleep at night.

What time of day should I do the Neo Light Bed?

Technically any time of day is fine. However, there is likely brief exposure to the bright lights. Some lights are calming while others are stimulating.

Cleanse mode however, which contains blue light, should be done in the morning or afternoon only, and not in the late evening. This is because Blue Light is stimulating and thought to enhance mood, focus and attention – is not desired in the evening.

Can I do all 3 NEO Light Bed mode Sessions in one day?

We strongly suggest only doing one treatment mode per day, as multiple modes in one day will not be as beneficial.

Can I wear makeup and piercings during my NEO Light Bed Session?

YES! Totally fine to wear makeup and all piercings will be safe.

What do I wear during the NEO Light Bed Session?

Clients can do their session fully unclothed or they can wear their undergarments.

How long is a NEO Light Bed Session?

Sessions are 8-10 minutes. (Less or more time will decrease efficacy).

How is the NEO Light Bed different from other light therapies?

With NEO | Light, clients enjoy the benefits of Photobiomodulation in only 8-10 minutes. Red color light (633) offers enhancement of the skin and reversal of signs of aging. The full spectrum Infrared Frequencies (810, 850, and 940) penetrate deeper into the skin and aid in muscle relaxation and recovery. Who should NOT use the NEO Light Bed?

(1) Pregnant women, clients with cardiac pacemakers, and patients with malignant tumors.

(2) Clients who are allergic to light therapy or who take photosensitizers (such as chlorpromazine).

(3) Clients with active hemorrhage or shock, and internal organ damage.

(4) Clients with high fever, active tuberculosis, vasculitis obliterans, etc.

(5) Clients with severe heart and kidney disease, such as heart failure, myocarditis, uremia, etc.

(6) Clients with skin diseases should use it under the guidance of a doctor.

How often can I use the NEO Light Bed?

It is recommended to do at least 3-5 sessions per week. Consistency is key to reach results.
